HOW TO DO…I LOVE YOU?

That’s a good question. Simply saying, “I Love You”, to someone isn’t always enough. At times our words can sound robotic, like saying hello or goodby over the phone. As I listened to this new song, to me, my mind wandered off to the Lord. As a part of the body of the Bride of Christ, I pondered over how do I DO I love you? How do I express that to my Lord? So often, I simply say, Lord you know my heart. This song made me wonder about me, and all who are coming closer to the Lord. How do we show we are greatful to all that He has done for us? How do we do I love you?

So often I get so wrapped up in asking forgiveness, and thanking Him for all he has done for me and my family that I fail to say I love you. I offer praise and thanks… and I really had to think about if I even, ever, often say it?

Glory’s Gate New Release – How To Do I Love You….

We are in the midst of a season where it is so easy to look at the self and ask, “What about me and mine?” Yet, it is not about “me” it is about a body of individuals who are all struggling in this world we are in, and not of. Our very lives, with all of its good and evil have been shaken up like a bottle of soda and is fizzing over. Yet, those who love the Lord, are not left out in the world alone…we have the Lord’s Holy Spirit within us. The question is, at least for me, how to DO (and not just say) I love you?

Matthew 22:36-40

36Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38This is the first and great commandment. 39And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

So, in the midst of all the evil lawlessness, as I listened to this song, it rang out something deep for me to ponder. How to DO I love you with all my heart, soul and mind for my Lord.

Please enjoy this song and if you appreciate it, give it a like.

Thank you… have a great day!

Dianne

Thankfull for the sun, birds singing, loving wife thats a fighter, a good car, a good day, a bad day turned into a good one, unforseen blessings. Taking note of thesr types of things and giving God credit, to me, shows the love you have. How I see it. Wifey and I were at a stoplight one day and a woman got out of her 60k suv and handed us a $100 saying God told her to give us that, for no other reason, yep we gave praise to God for that one.-as an example…. Showing love for his creation….
    Thanks.

Amen, beautiful, Dianne. Our doing flows out of our being (in Him),These words of Christ really come alive when we truly understand and spiritually discern that in Him, we live and move and have our being. And that Being is love, the root and the vine that supplies the living branches with leaves and fruit for the healing of the nations.

      1. Wow…that scripture as he said to Peter…went past me all these times…until now. The if you love me part… I always looked at that toward Peter and never looked at it for each of us. That is, for me, eye opening. Amen.

That country song reminded me of this one which I had never heard about even though it’s about 20 years old and an award winner.

Warning – it is a teat jerker.

Most people are completely **unaware** they are BREAKING the first and the most important commandment, as they have a different God than who Jesus recognizes and acknowledges as His God, the Father, (Rev. 3:12, John 20:17, Eph. 1:3). The identity of “the Lord your God” in Mat. 22:37 above should be EXACTLY the same identity as “the Lord your God” (the Father) in Acts 3:22-23. ======> Mat. 24:11.

Beautiful song! Dianne!! It all boils down to, treating others the way we want to be treated! If we Love YAHUAH and our fellow man and woman, we will not do anything to hurt each other and will help others! The TEN COMMANDMENTS is Called:” The COVALENT of LOVE “ Let us hear the conclusion of the entire matter: Fear HIM and obey HIS Commands, for this applies to ALL Mankind! Ecc.12:13-14

  8. When Jesus was asked the trick question as to which of the Commandments was the greatest, he summed up the first four pertaining to God into the greatest. Then, Jesus summed up the other six that apply to our fellow man into the second like unto the first. Five being the prime number for grace times the two summarized Commandments equals 10 Commandments. How to do I love you? The answer is in John 14:15. I do take John 14:8-21 rather personnel since my mom named me Phillip (Philip). Always used two “L’s”. Now there are gonna be a bunch of highly educated theologians saying all the theological crap about “faith alone” and “grace alone” and “not by works” etc…. After studying all the letters of Paul and teachings of Christ: Faith without works is a dead faith. Works without faith is a waste of time. We are indeed saved by grace alone by the blood of the Lamb of God. If we claim to have purchased that precious blood through faith, should there not be a proof of purchase? Living faith is total trust in God with works showing his grace our love. Stay strong! LOLGB+

Thank you, Duchess01. I’ve been enjoying BardsFM for a while, but I haven’t heard him in over a month or longer. Here’s a powerful verse he shared on his podcast tonight:
Matthew 15:13 (KJV) “But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.”
