Why would God’s people be referred to as a remnant? What is a remnant? I pondered this today and tried to understand it. I thought to compare a remnant from the entire woven bulk of cloth….. and thought, what is a remnant used for? Patching? Quilting? The last of something? What if it is the last of something coming together and forming a new thing? Like Joseph’s coat of many colors?
Was Joseph’s coat of many colors made from remnants? Or did it symbolize remnants? I had never thought of this before I pondered the word remnant. “Now Israel (Jacob) loved Joseph more than any other of his children, because he was the son of his old age; and he made him a coat of many colours.” – Genesis 37:3
Upon Jacob’s deathbed, Joseph’s sons Manasseh and Ephraim received the inheritance of Israel. They were born of a gentile mother. The promises of Abraham to have children as many as the stars in the sky and the sands of the sea were to be through all nations grafted into one. The stick of Joseph to the stick of Judah.
Genesis 20:17- 18 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
This led me to Ezekiel…and the two sticks.
Ezekiel 37:19 “Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.”
“Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver.”
Therefore, seek God’s truth and watch all things so you are not deceived by the wickedness of man’s false promises, and vain deceits that the devil shall and does use against all humanity. We are in a battle, the same battle of old and all time here upon the earth. That battle is spiritual and between God’s commands and the Devils commands. Free will is given to each, and each must choose who they shall believe and follow. For we see not either God nor the devil in their form, but we see both through the deeds of the creation. Be it nature, or man himself, the deeds performed of God are of goodness and order, laws of nature and natural. The deeds of the devil are chaos, lies, deceit, theft, death and confusion. The Lord said, “You shall know them by their fruits (what they bring forth)…not their words.”
That being said, remember Ezra’s warning not to go against God’s commands.
Ezra 9:14 KJV “Should we again break thy commandments, and join in affinity with the people of these abominations? Wouldest not thou be angry with us till thou hadst consumed us, so that there should be no remnant nor escaping?“

In Exodus 26:12 it is referred to as what is left of a curtain; in Leviticus 2:3 it is what is left of the meat offering, also of the oil in Lev. 14:18. In Deuteronomy 3:11 it refers to what is left of the giants, in Joshua 23:12 it refers to nations, in 2nd Kings 21:14 it is a people, and those that will receive God’s inheritance. In Ezra 9:14 there is even a warning not to go against God’s commands and have no remnant to be saved, nor to escape. Which led me to ask, what was the original Greek word for remnant? I sought the definition and found….

So in these days when we refer to God’s people as a remnant…what are we to understand by that label? Is it not in reference to a great falling away? A falling away that only a remnant are left? An abandoned few or what is left of what once was a larger sum of an original source of something?

That being understood, what type of people ought we be striving to become? Pray to be found in the remnant. Judging not the flesh, but using discernment, pulling some out of the fire even hating the garment defiled by the flesh.
Jude 1- 20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, 21keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 22And on some have compassion, making a distinction; 23 but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.
We are not to judge others, but to have compassion and help build up one another in these days of fear and tribulation. Remember that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and all have the same Grace and Mercy of the same Lord and to whom is given much, much is required. Stay strong and fear not for these are wicked days.
For those who fear…have we all been turned into transhuman bots today? Have we all been gathered up and tortured today? Have we all starved today? Have we all been found dying of thirst today? The Lord said it is not what goes into the body and comes out in the drought that defiles a man, but what comes out of his mouth. We are to discern, in a way of edification (understanding and reasoning) and not in a way of destruction. In so doing, we learn from each other and come to the knowledge of the truth. We see what is missing from what we have found and together we build upon the vision that has been given to each and when we share together we have understanding of what has been given for us to see.

Therefore, regardless of denomination, God is calling his people to open their eyes to see and ears to hear. He is calling to his remnant to come together.He is calling all to see and hear so they can come out of her my people. Not only out from Babylon the Great, but also from the larger source of what has been called religious denominations with church doctrines and rules set forth by man. (referring to the dogma’s that divide Christ followers between Christ followers).
John 10:16 “ 16And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.“
This is a spiritual calling to awake and see that there has been a great falling away and now is the time to return to one body of Christ our Lord. God’s remnant is world wide.
For America, it is a clarion call for God’s remnant to return to one nation called by God’s name. For the world it is the very same calling, the very same message for thy Kingdom Come On Earth As It Is In Heaven.
To have faith as a grain of mustard seed is all that is required. Can we muster that much faith? I believe we can and are as we speak.

Actually diane the 2 sticks represent the cross of Jesus. In the old testament they were looking forward to the cross. In the new testament we look back at the finished work of the cross.

The remnant of God are God’s people in the last days that are identical in faith and doctrine as God’s people in the beginning. They keep the Ten Commandments as Jesus did… not as the “changed” commandments of the Catholic Church. God’s people honor the 7th day, not the first day. It is not a Jewish day as some say. The 7th day is the birthday of creation week. God made the 7th day holy and rested on it. God changes not. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. We will keep the 7th day Sabbath even in the Heavens and New Earth. The 4th commandant contains the authority of God. The 7th day shows who are God’s people and they know who is their God. In these last days, God is calling His people out from other folds in to His true fold – those that keep the commandments and have the faith of Jesus. Revelation even tells us only commandment keepers enter in through the gates and eat of the tree of life. Sunday is pagan and is the popes day. The pope is the antichrist as shown many ways in the book of Daniel and also Revelation. He thinks to change times and laws. He did! He altered the ten commandments – removed the second commandment and split the 10th in to 2 so there are 10. He also changed the Sabbath day from the 7th day to the 1st. Many many scriptures that show us who the antichrist power is. So it is… the Remnant of God keep His commandments because Jesus said, If you love me, keep My commandments. Jesus is our example. Amen.

Hmm I can see your point,. My bible tells me that all have sinned, and need a savior, Jesus. If I we’re capable of keeping ten commandments so I might eat at the banquet , I would not have need of a Savior. My only righteousness is found in cross of Jesus. If we believe in the Lord Jesus Christ we will be saved. My mission on earth is to love God and give Him glory as well as loving my neighbor. It is not my place to judge another but, to pray and speak truth to them so they might also decide to follow the one true God. To set myself up as being judge of others is prideful and leads to sin. Lets pray for discernment for others and allow them the same opportunity Jesus gave us when we were bound by our own sin.

I guess it all depends on who writes the history. All I know is that JESUS was a Jew.
There is no race or religion that walks on water and Arab muslims have done their share of killing as well.

Many Christians are in great deception over this issue and are following a doctrine of demons. I agree that many Orthodox Jews have denounced Zionism and many that have been urged to move to Israel have been duped by the Zionists. I have never read a Bible was not raised with a religion and any time I walked into a church I felt uneasy! I did attend several vacation Bible schools but never felt welcomed into the church.
Today I purchased a King James Bible so I can read these verses and understand what Diane is writing about. What I understand from Diane’s post Today is maybe it was a good thing I didn’t join a certain religion or church.
Please let me know if I took this wrong.

There is nothing wrong with gathering together in God’s name in the church and sharing his Word. What has been wrong is those who wrote man made doctrines that condemned other Christ followers and twisted the interpretations. There are many good churches. It is the people who error. The Lord told John to write the letters to churches in Revelations 2 and 3 so they would correct their ways and Paul wrote letters of both praise and correction to the same for getting away from the original message. For all are saved by grace through the blood of Christ. The apostles had no denomination, they had the Word of God. It was man who errored in judgement. Amen. For example to the church of Corinthians when he heard of them getting puffed up in themselves:

Leeallamong, as you read some of the more challenging comments here, do not judge the Bible by such as these. Read it and ask in prayer for God to send his Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit to guide you for understanding of the truth. For there are many who have not understood seasons, mercy, and grace, nor understood chastisement. It is written that vengeance is mine sayeth the Lord. Not mans. There is a time for war, and a time for peace. A time for lack and a time for abundance. Hate is not of God it is of man’s heart due to lack of discernment (understanding), and faith. It stems from fear and judgement based on lack of knowledge of truth. The flesh is weak but the spirit is willing. None are perfect and all have trigger points that when pushed explode. Some more than others. That is why man lives with many regrets and learn lessons through bad choices. God allows redeemption where man often has a hard time. Like the Prophet Jonah wanting to see Ninevah destroyed before his eyes. But God’s ways are not man’s ways and Jonah knows not the heart, nor did he know God’s future plans for why he does this or that. It is written that all things work together for his purpose. We are to recognize evil and not participate in it. We are allowed to be angry at injustice. Just not to let that anger last until the sun goes down and not to let that anger destroy your peace of mind and faith. None of us are perfect. But, each have a purpose. There is a time to stand, and a time to sit. You will know what is what, the Lord will guide you.

Great analysis of God’s Word. I’m about to stop reading or watching anything unless it actively promotes the Truth of Jesus and not fairy tale conspiracy. When you concert to Judaism you forsake Christ. So how can someone like Ivanka who should know better, be saved as she has forsaken Christ? While the word “remnant is used often……it does not show up at all in the Church epistles….except in Romans 9 and 11…..both chapters are about Israel.

I was at an orchard yesterday….discussing “grafting” of fruit trees with the owner. I brought up Romans 11….because Gentiles are said to be “grafted in” to the tree (for fruit bearing).
The Body of Christ is NOT part of any remnant.
Revelation (no “s”) speaks of a woman bringing forth a man child. A great dragon attempts to devour this child.
As God promised “the seed of a woman” (Gen 3:15)…..and no woman has “seed”! A serpent heard….and history shows how the 5th cherub (Lucifer) that covers (he is the veil upon human hearts…..Revelation is an unveiling). Satan attempted to corrupt mans gene (Gen 6), to dominate under Nimrod (a hunter of men), to kill Moses by drowning in the Nile, to kill Jesus by miscarriage (trip to Bethlehem while Mary 9 mos. pregnant), Herod ordered death of 2 year olds…….there are so many of these spiritual battles, I can’t list them all. Athalia , Jezebel, etc …..the accounts are multiple. The assaults continue by those who claim to be Jews (stealing their promises, covenants, callings, etc). While it may SEEM that God is all finished with the nation Israel……THEY will prove to have a remnant (specified in Romans 9-11). Paul was guided by the Spirit of God to instruct Christs redeemed concerning 1 of 6 “mysteries” (1 Cor. 4:1…..a steward is accountable for knowing/teaching these…..as they protect doctrine)…..the Mystery of Israel’s blindness is temporary….because God cannot lie, and He promised Abraham, Isaac and Jacob a certain land grant. Abrahams descendants compared to:
sands of seashore – Israel
stars of Heaven – Church
dust of Earth – Gentiles
(1 Cor. 10:32)
The “times of the Gentiles” continues until Christ returns to establish His RIGHTEOUS Kingdom……
But the “fullness of the Gentiles” ends when the Body of Christ is translated to Heaven (Heb 11:5)…..so the BEAST kingdoms may putrefy without benefit of salt/light to restrain it any longer. It’s about to get much, much worse on Earth.

I’m so grateful to have witnessed a longing in the hearts of the remnant worldwide to draw together and to find strength in each other. Through my volunteer work as an online chat coach with BGEA (Billy Graham Evangelistic Assoc), called Search for Jesus (SFJ), God’s family from all around the world have been exploding in their online outreach to each other. Their hearts appear to be so tender and longing for fellowship with other believers. The remnant is pulling together, and it’s incredible seeing God’s hand moving through this difficult time that we’re in. Places like right here and SFJ provide a unique opportunity for us to strengthen each other and to lift each other up for the glory of God and for the road ahead. I praise God for ministries like this, and I pray for God’s care & protection on all those involved.

To keep it simple, which “God” is not a “God” of confusion. If there was a “True Religion” than that name would of been mentioned in the Bible. Go back to when Jesus was on the Cross with the two sinners. One believed in Jesus and the other did not; Jesus told the one who believed “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.”‘; This person was probably “Living the Vida Loca” and never went to church (gathering) or had a religion. Nevertheless, Jesus forgave him.

We are in a time where dogmatic group think is the forced acceptable status quo, and the so called “experts” are not wise and original thinking personalities that openly question the status quo as a means to evolve the groups’ overall perspectives. When I read your comment, I had a vision of a man standing ready to get on board a train, possibly bound for heaven, and he had a pile of suitcases and the train pulled up, “Heaven Express”, and the man went to gather his suitcases and the Angel at the passenger door put up his hand and said, “Sir, you will have to leave all that baggage here if you wish to come aboard.” Thank you for the inspiration. In scripture before Israel was, there was Abraham and the promises to Abraham. That he would have children as the number of stars in the sky and sands of the sea and through his seed would all the nations be blessed. Through his seed came Isaac and then Jacob. Jacob wrestled with the angel of the Lord and asked for a blessing and was given the name Israel. His sons became the tribes of Israel. They were all Hebrews and God grew his nation in Egypt. When Israel was on his deathbed he blessed all his sons and gave them their inheritances/blessings…he foretold what they all would be. The inheritance of Israel was to the sons of Joseph who were Manesseh the oldest and Ephraim the youngest. They were the new heirs to Israel. There were no Jews yet. Jews came much later after the reign of Solomon and the dividing of the kingdoms at the time of the reign of his son Rehoboam. Two tribes remained in Jerusalem. Judah and Benjamin and formed the Judean kingdom. The Israelites from this kingdom began to be called Jews. In this way the Kingdom of Israel was divided into two Judah and Israel. So…riddle me this…are we speaking of the Jews now or Israel?

There is no terror, I have been called much worse…but that does not make it so. I look at Koreshlives as a testing of my patience and who to call upon for defense and even if one is needed, which it was not. However, for the sake of those who have to see such ramblings of challenge, it was layed strongly to set it correctly. Koreshlives does not want a truth, he wants me to bow to his imperfect rantings. I bow not. He can struggle with the Lord with his hate, and condemnation, I put all of it in the Lord’s hands. I do not have to be unequally yoked on the matter. You have no idea how these words sound for you do not specify any, you classify all. Ramblings of hate dogma. No specific person(s) just group them all – sounds like Pelosi blaming all the patriots for ANTIFA break in at the Capitol.

It is the love of Christ that should constrain us in all of our discourse as we are led to speak or not. I am not coming from a place of hatred toward anyone but a pure love of truth at all costs. For those who desire God and only truth, God will reveal. Fleshly arguments have no place in the body of Christ. Pointing out the sins of others also has no place in the body of Christ. That is why I am trying to understand how one could name call democrats , Rinos and others if it doesn’t fit their political dogma but forbids to discuss openly or admit the the inconsistencies of those within their own politcal belief system, particularly those who push the Zionist agenda and have many questionable fruit hanging in their gardens as well. This is not called critical thinking but confirmation bias. It is also called twisting the scriptures to fit a man-made doctrine or group ideology. What I see in America is a divided nation and idolatry in the church. God will turn us over to the desires of our hearts, every time if we continue to pursuit any path apart from Him. This is a form of His judgements which are intended to correct and bring to the light of truth, never to condemn because His mercy endures forever and He is always ready to give grace for grace to those who are of a broken and contrite spirit.

I just wanted you to know that I found one of your articles and signed up for your emails just after Trump lost the election. I was never a religious person but I have bought a bible and am learning as fast as I can, though I have the feeling things are going to happen sooner rather than later. My intuition is telling me that we are coming up for a great deception and things are not as they seem. I hope I am wrong.

The Old Testament (at least the official one) informs the reader about two antagonist seed lines: the seed of the Virus, by Eve who got an ‘ish’ / male in the human appearance of Kain; and the seed of Adam, by same Eve who got a ‘ben’ / son in Abel (killed and eaten by his fraternal twin brother, presuming that Kain used his teeth as weapon at the crime scene), but actually continued by the next son, Seth / replacement of Abel.
From the seed of Adam, through Seth, we receive Yasu, or Yeshuah, or Jesus Who Is the Christ. Who fulfills the Old Testament.
By the works of the Virus, through Kain and its descendants (Adam was not the first man on this planet, but the first separated man), most (if not all) political chairs were infected with deceit, by that viral DNA mutation.
Was Judas Iscariot a literal/genetic descendant of Kain?
After completing his treasonous job, he chose to hang himself (that one really did it).
Wondering what if, about the same day, when The Son of Adam was dying on the Cross, and the son of the Virus hung himself from a tree, what if that day marked (also) the completion of the two antagonist seed lines?
Iscariot kills Kain by killing himself (loop closed). Jesus redeems Adamkind, all mankind, all life in His creation, by His Resurrection.
That OT level of the game is over. A clean slate, a new beginning.
And now you may say, and rightfully so, that the seed of Kain continues by this or that offspring. It certainly does, and genealogy would be a nice thing to track it back. Yet quite impractical, because the quarrel of nations means nothing, because nations upon nations have mixed throughout history. And who can state that some code of Genghis Khan’s seed hadn’t reached Iceland?
The unique criteria that stands today, as Dianne mentioned here, is studying the fruits, the deeds, before knowing who is who. This goes exactly opposite to dogmatic group think –which incidentally came out as criteria in judging Ivanka. Do you really know what she’s up to in her heart? Do you wish to know? Study the fruit. The deeds.

Dogmatic group think is a perfect phrase to describe it. These group thinks have lists of things to memorize…if it’s not been memorized…they can’t answer for there is a difference between teaching others how to critically think and discern (which the Lord gives to each who ask through the Holy Spirit) and teaching how to memorize what the think tank wants people to believe. Like Fake news. Believe what we tell you and ask no questions. Censor you if you do. Memorizers can only debate to the point of what they have memorized and can’t critically think nor call upon the Lord for assistance for they are hung up on that which was memorized and the teacher of the dogma.

Three, we arrive naked in this world, and we leave it naked. Thank you for your teachings, Diane. I have learned much from them and your learned followers’ responses. I am clearly not knowledgeable in understanding “ZION/ZIONIST” and I do not understand much of what I hear from other Christians regarding them. Some are intensely critical and downright vicious in their opinions. Help!

Start/nourish a personal relationship with God/Jesus/Holy Ghost, and disregard what anyone says that isn’t based in Love, that isn’t supportive of your journey, or that is critical of how other people think, or what other people do, because that is the antithesis of what Jesus taught. Don’t get caught up in trying to understand man-made concepts. Simply ask GOD for WISDOM and UNDERSTANDING and He will get you where YOU need to go; and, where YOU need to go is not the same path or journey that OTHERS need to make.
It is a highly personal relationship you are establishing.
God is Love.
God is Mind.
God is Truth.
