Stephanie Cegielski and “Make America Great Again” Super PAC – Are Scam Artists! Trump sent a Cease-and-Desist Letter To Them In October!

Trump’s Campaign Manager, Corey Lewandowski told The Hill“These guys are scam artists doing it for their own personal benefit and seeking to profiteer off Trump’s name. People should not give to this or any other super-PAC claiming to support Donald Trump for president.”

On 28 March 2016, Stephanie Cegielski, a one-time strategist for the “Make America Great Again” super PAC, published an open letter to Trump supporters on the web site xoJane. It was a scathing article stating a host of “Cruz-like” lies all in “Ted like” love and disappointment. Her claims were bold and again, skewed with only bits of truth.

“Last summer, I signed on as the Communications Director of the Make America Great Again Super PAC.” Trust me, she was not hired by Trump or the Trump Camp! Her super PAC was ordered to cease, and now a disgruntled Stephanie is obviously working for another super PAC smearing Trump.

Stephanie_Cegielsk_3602519b Among many lies, Stephanie Cegielski wrote in her sour grapes letter, “Almost a year ago, recruited for my public relations and public policy expertise, I sat in Trump Tower being told that the goal was to get The Donald to poll in double digits and come in second in delegate count. That was it.” My, my….where do these people come up with the gall to say such false words? Or maybe the question should be, who pays them to say such lies?

“It was still early in the Trump campaign, and we hit the ground running. His biggest competitor had more than $100 million in a Super PAC. The Jeb Bush deep pockets looked to be the biggest obstacle we faced. We seemed to be up against a steep challenge, especially since a big part of the appeal of a Trump candidacy was not being influenced by PAC money.” Read full sour grapes and lies here: http://www.xojane.com/issues/stephanie-cegielski-donald-trump-campaign-defector

Hope Hicks, a spokesperson for the Trump campaign, told Yahoo News that Cegielski was never employed by Donald Trump’s presidential campaign: she worked for a Super PAC which Mr. Trump disavowed and requested the closure of via the FEC. The “Make America Great Again” super PAC went dark as of October 2015 amid ongoing scrutiny of where the money was coming from and going to, and whether the committee had direct ties to the Trump campaign.

“Donald Trump’s campaign is furiously pushing back against a super-PAC that a former ally launched on Thursday with the aim of damaging Trump’s rivals for the GOP nomination.

“Big league scam,” Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski told The Hill.

We sent a cease-and-desist letter to this PAC in October and want nothing to do with this,” he said. “These guys are scam artists doing it for their own personal benefit and seeking to profiteer off Trump’s name. People should not give to this or any other super-PAC claiming to support Donald Trump for president.” Read more here: http://hotair.com/headlines/archives/2015/12/18/trump-campaign-calls-supporting-super-pac-a-big-league-scam/

While Cegielski’s official title may be unclear, it’s certain that her claim of being “Trump’s top campaign strategist” is incorrect. Cegielski worked for a super PAC (which, despite the name, is not legally recognized as a political action committee and by law cannot contribute directly to or coordinate with a political campaign, although they can use raised funds to campaign independently) and not for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign: Super PACs are technically known as independent expenditure-only committees, super PACs may raise unlimited sums of money from corporations, unions, associations and individuals, then spend unlimited sums to overtly advocate for or against political candidates. Unlike traditional PACs, super PACs are prohibited from donating money directly to political candidates, and their spending must not be coordinated with that of the candidates they benefit.

Cegielski is obviously now working for another campaign and probably has been given a good donation to bash Trump and of course use her bleeding heart ex-Trump love as a beacon of honesty when in reality it is obviously a super PAC remorse with no closure due to Trump’s closure. Her opinions are her opinions. And if she was with a group who were INDEPENDENTLY making comments about the direction and intent of Trump – well they were all foolishly wrong now weren’t they?

Summary of the Cegielski super PAC scam:

A new fundraising group -– boasting Donald Trump’s campaign slogan “Make America Great Again”-– got up and running at the end of June – 1st of July 2015. But, what were they doing for Trump other than using his name to rake in money?

They filed start-up paperwork with the Federal Election Commission and when ABC news caught wind of it and went out to investigate it. After all, Trump had boasted of no super PAC’s and the media was looking for a hot lead. But it was not clear if it was connected to Trump.

The group’s treasurer and lawyer –- the only two people named on the FEC paperwork -– did not respond to requests for comment by ABC News.

The address listed for the organization on 51st Street in Manhattan is shared by a UPS Store.

Multiple calls to a phone number listed on the group’s website went straight to a voicemail box and a message to a generic “info” e-mail address went unreturned.

When asked about the Super PAC, Trump’s campaign didn’t have information about the new fundraising group.

“Given Mr. Trump’s top-tier status in recent polls, it is not surprising that someone has put together a Super PAC to support Donald J. Trump for President,” a campaign rep told ABC News. “We hope that they will invite us to attend some of their events.”

It wasn’t long and Trump saw people popping up Super PACs in his name and he openly put a stop to all of them with a court order to cease and desist. Trump further spoke about these PACs on the campaign trail exposing how they ARE DISHONEST and keep most of the money for themselves and told people not to send them any money he has NO SUPER PACS.

So, whatever Stephanie Cegielski is gaining by her Trump bashing now….is all a part of her own sour grape “Michelle Fields” super PAC smear for another campaign moment. Read more here:

Thanks to Trump we now know the games these deceitful PACs play and how they have their hands out for cash to do the bidding of other campaigns and the GOP.

Her five seconds of fame are gone now….just hope she enjoys spending her 30 pieces of silver.

    1. Fellow Trumpsters: Some of you are threatening to leave the GOP / not vote – if the nomination would be stolen. This could actually bring additional incentive to the establishment. If anything, let the establishment leave; please see http://theconservativetreehouse.com/2016/03/16/just-a-reminder-this-is-an-insurgency/ . Also: Interesting quote from General George Patton – ‘No b*st*rd ever won a war by dying for his country. You won it by making the other poor dumb b*st*rd die for his country’ ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_S._Patton's_speech_to_the_Third_Army )

    2. At approximately 0:10 (of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IqfRbjcpDY (“Replay: Donald Trump, Jr. Speaks in Elko, NV (2-22-16)”)) ‘Common Sense is actually starting to make a difference and so the party establishment even the Republican party will do whatever they can to try to stop my father because they realize if he gets in there you know the little game that they are used to playing and everyone takes care of everyone else and everyone makes money off of everyone else’s thing and you know everyone’s doing incredibly well for doing nothing. You know that all ends. That all ends. And He’s going to change the game. So again to my point get out there and vote. There’s only so much that they can do if we win in LANDSLIDES. The people have to speak and the people have to finally have a voice again and that’s what we are trying to do. But yes make no mistake THEY ARE DEATHLY AFRAID OF MY FATHER ON BOTH SIDES because of what he will do to that system that they have grown very comfortable with.’

    Clearling up: ‘The Cegielski Letter’

“If she had indeed worked for Trumps campaign she would be interviewed on CNN/FOX directly. That she was not immediately thrown on to our tv screens was a red flag.

Mainstream media would be shining a light to her if there had been the smallest shred of truth to her story. That MSM has completely ignored her showed directly something was seriously wrong with her…

I think MSM truly fears using a complete fraud like Cegielski against Trump.

They do not want to give him the chance to clearly show everyone they are utterly untruthful.”

    1. Exactly John! Her Super PAC received a court order to cease and desist – that alone shows what a liar she is. The media would then be liable for false reporting as court orders are court orders.

  5. I remember the speech when he denounced all of them, at TRUMP National Doral. He was in a great mood on his home turf that night, and showing off the new and improved Doral. He told the great story of his Doral deal too. LOTS of GOOD STUFF!

18 minutes in is where he begins the denouncements.
