Powell defends self against a $2.5 billion Smartmatic defamation lawsuit
“I stand by my statements about Smartmatic today I believe every allegation I have made,” Powell said in her statement to the court.
“Smartmatic’s desperate attempt to suggest I was a part of a civil conspiracy to harm the company is not only false but also still does not allow me to be sued in New York,” Powell said in her statement. “Smartmatic fails to even remotely allege any way that I was a part of a conspiracy. And for the record, I was not.”
Sidney Powell is moving forward to overturn the result of the 2020 presidential election and defending her remarks about Smartmatic.
Smartmatic continues to take the stance that they are innocent regardless of the evidence, “Without any true villain, defendants invented one. Defendants decided to make Smartmatic the villain in their story.” I guess it is the classical smear campaign…like Queen Nancy said, “You make up a smear, say it over and over again. Well, once upon a time in never ever tell the truth land that once was true and would hold up, except the gig is over as we watch in real time and then hear the liars scream their lies. Sidney is turning the tide. For far too long, we have had generations of young people make role models out of Hollywood types, sports athletes, musicians, and other elitists. Some are definitely worthy of admiration, like an athlete who works tirelessly in their sport. But, others are leading our young people down a very unethical, slippery slope. On the other hand….Sidney….now, she’s what we need for our heroes-of-the-day. She’s what I want our young adults and teens to aspire to and to look up to as a role model….a woman of integrity, fighting spirit, no nonsense, intelligent, hard-working super hero. Thank you, Sidney Powell….and others like her.
