    1. I’ve only been online since mid-summer 2020. Never signed up on google or apple app. Have TMP on Microsoft Edge and on a browser spot. Guess that’s OK. Finally figured out how to do that a few months ago, on the browser spot. Ha! At going on 67, starting to get the hang of this tech stuff. Only censor problem I’ve had is FB, which is starting to be a waste of time. But, still have family on it. Have blocked over a dozen profile thieves and cons. Got a darn good Tech Angel assigned to me I suppose. LOLGB+

    1. Unique way of explaining 2 Peter 3:8. A thousand days to man is as a single day to God. As an example, Moses led the children of Israel in the wilderness for 40 years. 40/1000 = 0.04 day. God set the ordnance of the earth. 0.04 day x 24 hours/day = 0.96 hour and 0.96 hour x 60 min./hr. = 57.6 minutes. There is a cosmic timeclock. (Gen 1:14) Every 19 years there is no full full moon in the month of February (2018) and every 19 years there are two full moons in October, the first two following the Autumn Equinox (2020). The Sacred Calendar (lunar type) is corrected 7 times in a 19 year cycle to keep it in line with our current calendar (solar type). The planets Jupiter and Saturn come into a conjunction every 20 years. [See Gen. 31:41.] This conjunction happens every 800 years on the winter solstice(12/21/2020). [40 x 20 =800] After the sixth seal in Rev. 6:12-17, the seventh is opened in Rev. 8:1 and there is silence in heaven – God time – about the space of half an hour.
      From Missing Links, page 91:
“The basic mathematics for understanding prophecy is found in Num. 14:34 and Ezek. 4:6. These two verses give us the day to a year principle. (1 day = 1 year) Some prophecies are given in days while others are given in time and times and dividing of time. A time is one cycle, times are two cycles, and the dividing of time is 1/2 cycle – totaling 3.5 times or cycles. A cycle is one complete revolution, as in the earth on its axis (day) and the earth around the sun (year). This corresponds to the day to the year principle. Mathematically, one complete revolution is 360 degrees. The prophetically set period for one-time cycle is 360 days. [360° × 1 deg./day = 360 days] The 3.5 times is 1260 days and the year to a day principle makes it 1260 years. [360 × 3.5 = 1260]
      From page 100:
“The beginning of the 3.5 times or 1260 years was 515 BC. Those days and Daniel’s mourning three full weeks was prior to and during the third year of Cyrus. (Dan. 10:1-2) Dan. 10:4-21 begins the time when the Lord strengthened Daniel before he began to show him the truth begins at Dan. 11:1. The Lord told Daniel that He (The Lord) would confirm and strengthened (future tense) Darius. [The word “also” at the beginning of Daniel 11:1 was added by the translators and not in the Hebrew text, as “also” is in most cases throughout the Old Testament. The verb “stood” is from the Hebrew term “amad” meaning: to stand as in: to appoint – ordain – raise up – set up – make to. A better rendering would be “will stand” as the Lord was speaking to Daniel in the third year of Cyrus.] The confirming and strengthening of King Darius was to get the stalled work in Jerusalem going again. (Ezra 6)
Those days and the three full weeks are a prophetical literal 21 years that Daniel mourned and prayed for his people and the rebuilding of the Temple and the City. (Ezekiel 14:14-20) Dan. 10:2 parallels with and is a prophetical reciprocal to the 21 days (years) in Dan. 10:13. Michael dealt with the Persian princes causing problems in Jerusalem while the Lord remained with the Persian kings. Cyrus reined 539-521 BC, and a thing was revealed to Daniel in his third year. [539 − 3 − 21 = 515] Darius reigned from 521-486 BC and the Temple was rebuilt in his sixth year or 515 BC. (Ezra 6:15) Using the mathematical ratio in 2 Peter 3:8, the 21 years would be about the space of half an hour in God time. (Rev. 8:1) Remember this math in Chapter VII: 21 yr./1000 yr. x 24 hr./day = .504 hr.”

      1. OPS! Just noticed a mistake in the 2 Peter 3:8 post. The first line should read “thousand years” not “thousand days”. Sorry! The rest is correct. LOLGB+

This was great, I get that 1 day is a thousand years in a 7 day model. Everything falls into place. There are 3 ages. We all were present in the 1st age and saw the rebellion of lucifer. Some acted in ways that would echo into the 2nd age. We are now entering the 3rd that never ends. Is what I feel and hope. But what your saying is .50 is on God’s wristwatch? half an hour ? and how does 21 years affect us?

      3. Day to the year in prophecy for us is reciprocated to year to the day in God time. The “about half an hour” (21 years) converts back to days for us, i.e 21 days (three full weeks) as in Daniel. No communications, TV, radio, cell phones, GPS, travel or internet for three full weeks – 21 days. It will be like the “Day the Earth stood Still”, the old B&W film, but for “three full weeks. Recall the movie was also for 30 minutes. About the only thing people will be able to do is some serious thinking. Hope this helps. You are correct about the three earth ages. That is represented in the 3 Pyramids of Giza. From Missing Links, pages 80-81: “Egypt’s history of pyramid building began after the sun cult emerged as the official religion. Many collapsed and successful ones were too small to attract much attention. The Giza group would have required a great Architect with an immense knowledge in geometrical design, mathematics, physics, and astronomy. One of Job’s friends said, “Remember that thou magnify (to grow, enlarge) his (God’s) work (an act, work, or deed done systematically), which men behold (through the idea of strolling, turning, traveling). Every man may see it (to gaze, mentally perceive, contemplate, have a vision of prophecy); man may behold it (to look intently) afar off (to remotely widen in any direction of place or time).” (Job 36:24-25)
Many have traveled to study them or gazed upon them from afar with amazement and prophetic curiosity throughout the ages. Today, we have the centuries old greatest mystery: Who built them and why? Many Mathematicians, Architects, and Engineers have explored a variety of possible methods employed in the building of the Great Pyramid. Some observers doubt that the three were built merely for the purpose of housing royal mummies. It is a fact that no mummies or great treasure have ever been found in them. Many mathematicians have long believed that the Great Pyramid’s Architect possessed a geometrical wisdom that became lost to the world. Could Job have been the great Architect? We found The Big Bang in Job 38:6-7, and earth as a cosmic ball of dust in Job 38:37-38. The entire Book of Job has an architectural overtone to it. Could this systematical great work have been the work of God through Job?”
The smallest is the first, the middle our present, and the third the the Kingdom of God. The largest has no cap stone (cornerstone). Who is our chief cornerstone? (1 Peter 2:6-8) LOLGB+

    April 13, 2021

    Dear Fellow Brearley Parents,

Our family recently made the decision not to reenroll our daughter at Brearley for the 2021-22 school year. She has been at Brearley for seven years, beginning in kindergarten. In short, we no longer believe that Brearley’s administration and Board of Trustees have any of our children’s best interests at heart. Moreover, we no longer have confidence that our daughter will receive the quality of education necessary to further her development into a critically thinking, responsible, enlightened, and civic minded adult. I write to you, as a fellow parent, to share our reasons for leaving the Brearley community but also to urge you to act before the damage to the school, to its community, and to your own child’s education is irreparable.

It cannot be stated strongly enough that Brearley’s obsession with race must stop. It should be abundantly clear to any thinking parent that Brearley has completely lost its way. The administration and the Board of Trustees have displayed a cowardly and appalling lack of leadership by appeasing an anti-intellectual, illiberal mob, and then allowing the school to be captured by that same mob. What follows are my own personal views on Brearley’s antiracism initiatives, but these are just a handful of the criticisms that I know other parents have expressed.

I object to the view that I should be judged by the color of my skin. I cannot tolerate a school that not only judges my daughter by the color of her skin, but encourages and instructs her to prejudge others by theirs. By viewing every element of education, every aspect of history, and every facet of society through the lens of skin color and race, we are desecrating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and utterly violating the movement for which such civil rights leaders believed, fought, and died.

I object to the charge of systemic racism in this country, and at our school. Systemic racism, properly understood, is segregated schools and separate lunch counters. It is the interning of Japanese and the exterminating of Jews. Systemic racism is unequivocally not a small number of isolated incidences over a period of decades. Ask any girl, of any race, if they have ever experienced insults from friends, have ever felt slighted by teachers or have ever suffered the occasional injustice from a school at which they have spent up to 13 years of their life, and you are bound to hear grievances, some petty, some not. We have not had systemic racism against Blacks in this country since the civil rights reforms of the 1960s, a period of more than 50 years. To state otherwise is a flat-out misrepresentation of our country’s history and adds no understanding to any of today’s societal issues. If anything, longstanding and widespread policies such as affirmative action, point in precisely the opposite direction.

I object to a definition of systemic racism, apparently supported by Brearley, that any educational, professional, or societal outcome where Blacks are underrepresented is prima facie evidence of the aforementioned systemic racism, or of white supremacy and oppression. Facile and unsupported beliefs such as these are the polar opposite to the intellectual and scientific truth for which Brearley claims to stand. Furthermore, I call bullshit on Brearley’s oft-stated assertion that the school welcomes and encourages the truly difficult and uncomfortable conversations regarding race and the roots of racial discrepancies.

I object to the idea that Blacks are unable to succeed in this country without aid from government or from whites. Brearley, by adopting critical race theory, is advocating the abhorrent viewpoint that Blacks should forever be regarded as helpless victims, and are incapable of success regardless of their skills, talents, or hard work. What Brearley is teaching our children is precisely the true and correct definition of racism.

I object to mandatory anti-racism training for parents, especially when presented by the rent-seeking charlatans of Pollyanna. These sessions, in both their content and delivery, are so sophomoric and simplistic, so unsophisticated and inane, that I would be embarrassed if they were taught to Brearley kindergarteners. They are an insult to parents and unbecoming of any educational institution, let alone one of Brearley’s caliber.

I object to Brearley’s vacuous, inappropriate, and fanatical use of words such as “equity,” “diversity” and “inclusiveness.” If Brearley’s administration was truly concerned about so-called “equity,” it would be discussing the cessation of admissions preferences for legacies, siblings, and those families with especially deep pockets. If the administration was genuinely serious about “diversity,” it would not insist on the indoctrination of its students, and their families, to a single mindset, most reminiscent of the Chinese Cultural Revolution. Instead, the school would foster an environment of intellectual openness and freedom of thought. And if Brearley really cared about “inclusiveness,” the school would return to the concepts encapsulated in the motto “One Brearley,” instead of teaching the extraordinarily divisive idea that there are only, and always, two groups in this country: victims and oppressors.

l object to Brearley’s advocacy for groups and movements such as Black Lives Matter, a Marxist, anti family, heterophobic, anti-Asian and anti-Semitic organization that neither speaks for the majority of the Black community in this country, nor in any way, shape or form, represents their best interests.

I object to, as we have been told time and time again over the past year, that the school’s first priority is the safety of our children. For goodness sake, Brearley is a school, not a hospital! The number one priority of a school has always been, and always will be, education. Brearley’s misguided priorities exemplify both the safety culture and “cover-your-ass” culture that together have proved so toxic to our society and have so damaged the mental health and resiliency of two generations of children, and counting.

I object to the gutting of the history, civics, and classical literature curriculums. I object to the censorship of books that have been taught for generations because they contain dated language potentially offensive to the thin-skinned and hypersensitive (something that has already happened in my daughter’s 4th grade class). I object to the lowering of standards for the admission of students and for the hiring of teachers. I object to the erosion of rigor in classwork and the escalation of grade inflation. Any parent with eyes open can foresee these inevitabilities should antiracism initiatives be allowed to persist.

We have today in our country, from both political parties, and at all levels of government, the most unwise and unvirtuous leaders in our nation’s history. Schools like Brearley are supposed to be the training grounds for those leaders. Our nation will not survive a generation of leadership even more poorly educated than we have now, nor will we survive a generation of students taught to hate its own country and despise its history.

Lastly, I object, with as strong a sentiment as possible, that Brearley has begun to teach what to think, instead of how to think. I object that the school is now fostering an environment where our daughters, and our daughters’ teachers, are afraid to speak their minds in class for fear of “consequences.” I object that Brearley is trying to usurp the role of parents in teaching morality, and bullying parents to adopt that false morality at home. I object that Brearley is fostering a divisive community where families of different races, which until recently were part of the same community, are now segregated into two. These are the reasons why we can no longer send our daughter to Brearley.

Over the past several months, I have personally spoken to many Brearley parents as well as parents of children at peer institutions. It is abundantly clear that the majority of parents believe that Brearley’s antiracism policies are misguided, divisive, counterproductive and cancerous. Many believe, as I do, that these policies will ultimately destroy what was until recently, a wonderful educational institution. But as I am sure will come as no surprise to you, given the insidious cancel culture that has of late permeated our society, most parents are too fearful to speak up.

But speak up you must. There is strength in numbers and I assure you, the numbers are there. Contact the administration and the Board of Trustees and demand an end to the destructive and anti-intellectual claptrap known as antiracism. And if changes are not forthcoming then demand new leadership. For the sake of our community, our city, our country and most of all, our children, silence is no longer an option.

    Respectfully,

    Andrew Gutmann

I love the message in today’s post…Enjoy the high life wherever you are. With God as our King, we’ve every reason to overflow with joy, gladness, thanksgiving and praise. Let’s say we’ve just inherited a big chunk of land and a whole lotsa moolah to go with it.. Most people would have a happy heart way ahead of taking possession of their inheritance. They’d live today in the state of mind as if they’d already acquired it….because they know it’s coming their way. As believers, we have a heavenly inheritance… and… an earthly one too. God doesn’t hold back His riches, inheritances, and blessings from His kids. And yet, we often witness brothers and sisters in the faith living with a pauper’s mindset….downtrodden, unbelieving, & without hope. Together, we can help to keep each other in that glorious “high life” state of mind. We can practice living with our inheritance, and thoroughly celebrate our victories, even the ones we’ve yet to take possession of.
