THE KING OF KINGS IS COMING!

All scripture is for edification. But, who decides what scriptures? Man, or the Prophet God annointed to write it?

The book of Enoch prophesied the coming of the Messiah. The one who would avenge the righteous from all the wickedness of those who Lorded over them unjustly. Other than the book of Jude, these words are not in the Cannons of the Bible we were given at the council of Nicaea. In the book of Enoch the Lord comes first to give his life for all the righteous, and the second time he returns to execute judgement…

And behold! He cometh with ten thousands of His holy ones
To execute judgement upon all,
And to destroy all the ungodly:

And to convict all flesh
Of all the works of their ungodliness which they have ungodly committed,
And of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.

So it seems to be used as a witness, and Enoch gets it right in both messages. Enoch was also taken up into the heavens and met the Son of Man.

1 Enoch Chapter 46:1-2,
There I beheld the Ancient of days whose head was like white wool, and with him another, whose countenance resembled that of a man. His countenance was full of grace, like that of one of the holy angels. Then I inquired of one of the angels, who went with me, and who showed me every secret thing, concerning this Son of man; who he was; whence he was; and why he accompanied the Ancient of days. He answered and said to me, This is the Son of man, to whom righteousness belongs; with whom righteousness has dwealt; and who will reveal all the treasures of that which is concealed: for the Lord of spirits has chosen him; and his portion has surpassed all before the Lord of spirits in everlasting uprightness.

The Ancient of Days, the Serpent in Us – Riksavisen
Daniel’s vision of the description of what the Son of Man and the Ancient of Days looked like was the same as Enoch. Another cross reference of Bible Prophecy.

This Son of Man was the one that the Pharisees were looking to come in all his glory, and they had a specific image of who and what the Messiah was and how he was to appear stuck in their head. They were waiting for the Messiah to come and devour all of their enemies and deliver them from the hands of the Romans. Jesus was not the one they were anticipating to come. They wanted no part of Jesus and were angered at him and sought to ask him all kinds of trick questions to catch him misquoting something. Then one day he told them, “Before Abraham was, I am.” They accused him of blasphemy. Jesus told them they knew not the teachings of Moses. They were blinded to the Son of Man first to come as the lamb of God….and knew not the scriptures. Yet, they sat in the seat of Moses making new laws for everyone. They had grown far away from the law of Moses and knew not that they needed correction.

It appears they only had their minds set on what they themselves had come to believe and not what was written. Their main goal now was to belittle the teachings of Jesus and get rid of his influence. Every chance they got they approached him using key phrases in questions to try and trick Jesus up so they could accuse him of being an imposter even more and turn people against him. Jesus would be bold in his answers to them. He would direct them to scriptures.

John 5:39-47

39Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. 40And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. 41I receive not honour from men. 42But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you. 43I am come in my Father’s name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. 44How can ye believe, which receive honour one of another, and seek not the honour that cometh from God only? 45Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. 46For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me. 47But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

At every turn they sought to discredit Jesus, but could not.

Where is this written in the law of Moses? That didn’t seem to make the cut at Nicaea either. But proof of it did resurface in the dead sea scrolls.

A Moses Apocryphon (a)
A Moses Apocryphon (a) scroll is much like the Pentateuch. It gives instructions on how a person claiming to be a prophet should be treated. In column 11 there is a sacrificial ritual. The fragments were located in Cave 4 at Qumran.

A Moses Apocryphon (b)
This text is a re-working of exodus 28:9-12. It deals with the subject of the two stones in the shoulder pieces of the High Priests’ garment. Also, the secular head of the community is discussed. These fragments were found in Cave 4.

Moses Apocryphon (c)
Found in Cave 4 at Qumran, this text tells of Eliab, an elder who curses the Jews who do not observe the Law while Moses was on the mountain with God.

Pseudo-Moses (e)
Pseudo-Moses (e) is undoubtedly related to Jubilees and also, possibly, to the Damascus Document. The text is said to be a divine speech addressed to Moses. The date of this work is possibly 2nd Century BCE, no later than 134-104 BCE.

A Moses (or David) Apocryphon
The three small fragments of A Moses (or David) Apocryphon found in Cave 4 deal with a historical rendition of an unknown speaker. Og, King of Bashan is the only actual name mentioned in the text.

Finally the day came for the Feast of the Passover and Jesus made his triumphant entry into the city. This had to irritate the high priests and pharisees even further.

They plotted against him and then when he drove the merchants out of the temple…they were done with him. Judas betrayed him for 30 pieces of silver and the false witnesses lied about him. They finally shouted to let his blood be on their hands and their childrens hands. So they finally got what they wanted and Jesus was condemned and crucified on the cross. Thus, fulfilling prophecy that those who condemned him had no idea of. They knew not the scriptures because they were too busy sitting in the seat of Moses writing their own new laws and dogma.

The Lord rose from the grave on the third day and ascended to the father. He descended into hell and broke down the gates and freed the righteous. The victory over death was completed. And now all who believe and repent of their sins, accepting Jesus as their saviour, through the Grace of God have eternal life.

Now, those who believe are to follow the way of Jesus and share his love and the way to him with others. Yet, the commandments of God are still to be followed, but the Lord simplified them by putting them into two.

Mathew 22: 37-40 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

So, in the search for truth, we are of the generation that has been given the knowledge of scriptures that were hidden, forbidden, or lost. Some of these have surfaced in the Dead Sea Scrolls and many are blessed who have accepted the truths they contain. Many want nothing to do with them. Yet, many of these same books were cherished by the prophets and passed down to each new generation. Enoch opens up in the very first sentence saying that these words are written for the generation that will be alive when the Lord returns. Today, many Bible Scholars continue to decipher the fragments of the scrolls just to find the truths they contain. Are they inspired or are they fools? I choose to see them as inspired by God to search for the truths, for it is a tedious task and one that at the end reveals a pearl of great price.

It took more than 12 months for researchers to reconstruct 60 tiny fragments of a scroll originally found in the Qumran caves decades ago – the smallest one measuring only 0.155 square inches.

This book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth. but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Therefore, be very strong to keep and to do all that is written in the Book of the Law of Moses, turning aside from it neither to the right hand nor to the left, – Joshua 23:6 (ESV)

The research with the Dead Sea Scrolls also found that the 364 day calendar was perfect, and this is the calendar found in the book of Enoch.

In an article titled:

ONE OF LAST REMAINING DEAD SEA SCROLLS DECIPHERED

Steve Law & Kari Rohde |

This sect followed a 364-day calendar which was a tempestuous topic of debate in the Second Temple Period. The 364-day calendar is said to be “perfect”, the researchers shared, “Because this number can be divided into four and seven, special occasions always fall on the same day.”

Ratson and Ben-Dov explained that Judaism today follows a Lunar calendar. This “requires a large number of human decisions. People must look at the stars and moon and report their observations, and someone must be empowered to decide on the new month and the application of leap years.”

They continued in a joint statement why the 364-day calendar was used, “This avoids the need to decide. For example, what happens when a particular occasion falls on the Sabbath, as often happens in the Lunar calendar.” Read full article here: https://patternsofevidence.com/2018/02/02/one-of-the-last-remaining-dead-sea-scrolls-deciphered/

Palm Sunday 2021 date: Today is Palm Sunday - so what is it, what does it mean? | Express.co.uk

So as we celebrate Palm Sunday in remembrance of our Lord’s Palm Sunday in 2021 is on the Sunday, 4th of April (4/04/2021). Palm Sunday is on the 94th day of 2021. There are 271 days left in the year, or today March 28, 2021 – depending on the calendar you go by… and your church. I’m not Catholic, so I leave it up to others to decide. In researching I found both dates.

Regardless of how the Word of God is given, the truth in the Son of God, his life, death, and ressurection is sure. As we celebrate this Palm Sunday in rememberance of our Lord, let us praise All Word of God and His Triumph over Evil. For his Kingdom is coming on earth as it is in heaven, and no force of evil can stop it!

I like the way Justice is researched and judgement carried out in it
Today we just look the other way and accept the action of somebody in authority
to do the right thing instead of finding the truth.

No, we are not called to be a God, or even a god. There is one God, the God of the Bible and He will not share His title with anyone. We owe Him reverence for Who He Is, not as just someone “upstairs”. He is the Creator of all things and will not be equal with His created beings. “He must increase, but I must decrease” (John 3:30). “…let God be true, but every man a liar…” (Romans 3:4.

I think the Book of Enoch is fascinating and supports and explains some things in the Bible but if it was included in the Bible, the Bible Code, which I believe reveals the Book of Life and contains the names of every believer, doesn’t work. I know we can learn from the Book of Enoch as we do from the historical books in the Catholic Bible, but I trust the decisions of the Council, and I believe they were led by the Holy Spirit and it was the Holy Spirit acting through the Council Who chose the texts and the order of the texts for the Bible we know today, which is our Book of Life for tomorrow. We know too that we see through a glass darkly and the Living Word contains enough anointing to ignite the measure of faith God placed in every person to be saved. The Word as is has all we need. We have an eternity to keep learning. Amen? If there’s enough in there to get me saved (and there was!) I’m content.

    1. Remember, the Council had the Bible in Latin and it was not the same as the King James Version. That came later in 1611. And it was said that among that group who translated it were 60 graduates of Oxford and Cambridge and some say many free masons and coded it. I have no idea…just what a lot have written, and even Manly T. Hall who was a mason and writer of Secret teachings of all ages, included Shakesphear as one of the editors who he says encrypted messages within it. Now, I read the King James Bible of all….and have never really looked to deep into the Bible codes, other than buying a few books on it years ago when it first became publicly hyped up. I found it interesting. The more I learn the more I see exactly what the the Bible meant by the Lord saying, “That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” For the Gates of Hell are lurking at every corner even inside the witnesses called out. The first word that made a mess of that was Church. For Jesus taught in Aramaic and the Aramaic word for the Greek translation is Witness. So that scripture should be read as “That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my witness.” Which actually fits better as Peter was the first to testify or witness that Jesus was the son of God. So we need the Holy Spirit to show us all things. Amen.

Amen! We are all called to work out our own salvation. We are all running the race, looking to the author and finisher of our faith. I believe that each of us is on a very personal journey with our Savior. He is doing a work in each of us that cannot be compared to any of the others, and vice versa. With this in mind, I am often puzzled when the conversation here shifts from people simply sharing their beliefs to those who seem to be pressuring others to believe as they do. If someone doesn’t have the same light revealed to them by the Holy Spirit as another person has, than how in the world can they believe as that other person believes? They can’t… they’re not ready yet…God hasn’t revealed that truth to them yet…only until the Holy Spirit takes them to that “higher ground.”. Thank you, Dianne. I always sense from you that while you share the wisdom God has given you, you also trust the Holy Spirit to lead and guide our individual walks with Him. There’s never any shoving me toward higher ground or dragging me up to higher ground. You trust God to take me there when the time is just right for me, designed by Him. I’m grateful. Blessings to you… Amen.

After our election was stolen, I was searching for news sources and a link led to The Marshall Report, Very first article was speaking to my spirit and I knew Diane Marshall was my Sister in Christ and she has proven to be a relentless warrior for Christ, Whoever reads her material has to know that she is a precious child of God, But sometimes just as Preachers, certain subjects can be controversial and the congregation can differ on opinions and Enoch along with other by products of scripture are certainly one of those subjects, My opinion if it doesn’t threaten ones salvation and the Bible is your main source for Gods word, It should be fine , I find them very interesting but i just cant put stock into them. I always go to Rev.22; 18,19 and I take those statements very seriously. We serve a All Powerful All Knowing God and the Holy Book that he gives us is what he expects us to use, God doesn’t make mistakes, The Word we have today is exactly what God wants us to see and use for everyday living. But I have to admit Diane I see a lot of connections with Enoch and certain scriptures. Also Diane Prov. 25;2 was inspired for you.

I am a bit confused, Dianne. Do you believe the Torah is still in effect — even for believers in the Christ, Yashua, Son of God, Son of Man?

Abraham did NOT have Torah, nor did he follow such. None of the patriarchs and none of the pre-Flood era had Torah. Enoch walked with God must refer to how Adam walked with God in the beginning. Remember the early 1900’s hymn: “And He walks with me and He talks with me, and He says that I am His own….” ?

One can look at Enoch’s writings and see, tied in with some Old Testament, Matthew and Luke, Acts and some of Paul’s writings as well as Revelation, that our Messiah’s second coming already happened. YIPPEE !!!!! This happened:

    1. before one generation passed (“this generation”) or within 40 years of His crucifixion
    2. when they saw the walls encircled by the armies (see Luke; historically, this is about 66 1/2 to 70 AD a period of three and a half years — the first three and a half years were when He taught and healed and did miracles — to complete the seven years of Daniel)
    3. when the Temple was destroyed (70 AD
    4. when “heaven and earth” became no more (these were what the Jews referred to as the holy of holies and the man Temple — the curtain/tapestry that was torn, but not destroyed completely, depicted heaven and earth (see the Torah))
    5. what has always separated man from God is SIN. The fruit of the tree in the garden which was forbidden was knowledge that told us how we could overcome sin on our own and that we would not need God — Christ destroyed this: HALLELUJAH!!! (BTW — when Adam and Eve ate of the fruit, they did not die physically; God had to have them kicked out of the garden that they may not eat of the tree of life and live forever; so “dying” had to mean knowledge of sin and false knowledge of how to get rid of sin, which ultimately meant spiritual death and separation from a loving relationship with God — they would not accept simple and all-encompassing love from God because of their new knowledge).
    6. the literal translation of Peter’s “elements of the earth” will burn is “the elementary principles” which means the “heaven and earth” concept of separation from God because of sin will be destroyed when the Judaic system is destroyed — there will be no more deceiving of the people/humanity that sacrifices and following rules (Torah, “laws”) are necessary
    7. Finally, He said: I come quickly: meaning in the Greek VERY SOON, not speed, but time; He told his disciples He would return in this generation (meaning their’s); coming on or in the clouds is an Old Testament expression that always showed punishment and never meant a literal visual appearance of a being — some passages show something in the near future and are specific to Israel or Assyria, Egypt, other locales, others were pointing to the final destruction of Judah and Jerusalem which happened in 70 AD

If we believe in Torah, then we must live by all of it — every jot and tittle. If we sin in one way, we sin in all ways and are hopelessly separated from God forever. Love YHWH with all your heart, might, and soul, and love your neighbour as yourself only come through His Spirit (the Holy Spirit) if we abide (love, hang out with, etc….) in Him as He abides in us. Torah is back to the Law and the forbidden fruit. We are not perfect — Adam never was, either — and God knows it and does not care too much about it — He is forgiving.

The BIG question is whether we want to be with Him or not. He has provided the way — do we reject it even if we know it and have tried it for a while. There is nothing you nor I can do to live eternally or to keep hold of the gift given to us. Just be His friend and let Him do everything for you and much through you.

He is with us now. He will be with us and humanity forever. His kingdom is forever. He has never forsaken nor left us alone.

In peace, love, mercy and grace with the kindest regards for all

    1. I believe what Jesus said, he simplified it all down to two commandments. Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38This is the first and great commandment. 39And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

        Dear Dianne

Thank you for your response. My query has been to many: what does “Loving God” mean?
One can look back to the text and read in t many things, but we must read and build upon line by line, verse by verse. What is the text telling us, what does it mean in context of the whole letter, in context of the entire scripture.

“On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”

I agree. But have 7th Day Adventist friends who state that this means if we love Him, Yahshua, we will follow the 10 commandments; and, it is by following His 10 commandments we show Him (and ourselves, I guess) that we love Him. The same goes for Hebraic roots Christians who believe we should do all the festivals and eschew pork as well.

Yet, throughout the scriptures Yahshua constantly tells us how we cannot follow the 10 commandments perfectly, such as: lusting upon women is adultery; dissatisfaction with the lot God has given you is coveting; has anyone ever stolen something (time from your employer, taxes, whatever)? It is impossible to follow Torah/the Law and has always been, even for Enoch.

        Therefore:

John 15 10-14: “If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.”

In other words, Yahshua has fulfilled the 10 commandments. As He has fulfilled them, we do not need to fulfill them if we follow His commandment of loving one another as He has loved us. And, loving one another is to “lay down” your life for your friends. This LAY DOWN your life is the same one Greek word as in 1 John 3:16 and it denotes helping your brother in Christ when help is needed or asked for even “if it hurts.”

If we are to follow Torah and the Law, how do we explain Paul stating that all things are lawful (though not expedient/helpful) for us?

So, my question for you and the readers of your most interesting and praiseworthy to God column is: What do you mean/understand by:

“Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38This is the first and great commandment. 39And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” ?

        Regards

        A friend of God,
        Andre

p.s. I wish to note that even though I recognize that Christ’s second coming happened in 70 AD and it was for destroying completely the old system of God worship and sacrifice and that this is what Revelation points to, Christ still can come “in the clouds” in judgment upon a nation and its peoples as often as He needs to. However, He still is with us forever, now.
