And The Lord Said Unto Them…

I like the way this person wrote about the scriptures. I generally say, the Book of Enoch cross references with the Bible. Because it cross references it in many places. The book of Enoch fortells all the events within the cannons and details the creation and how God created all things from dark matter to the earth. But, those who have not read it with an understanding of God’s Word will not understand that this is so.

Jesus Said the Book of Enoch is Scripture

Published by Forerunner62 on October 23, 2020

In this article I will prove to you conclusively from the words and from the mouth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ himself, that the book of Enoch is scripture.

Matthew 22 verses 23 through 29

In a discussion about the resurrection it says, “that same day Jesus was approached by
some Sadducees, religious leaders who say there is no resurrection from the dead. They posed this question, “Teacher Moses said if a man dies without children and his brother should marry the widow and have a child who will carry on the brother’s name.
Well suppose there were seven brothers and the oldest one married and then died
without children so his brother married the widow but the second brother also died
and the third brother married her this continued with all seven of them. Last of all the woman also died.

So tell us, whose wife will she be in the resurrection? For all seven were married to her. And
Jesus replied, “Your mistake is that YOU DON’T KNOW THE SCRIPTURES, and you don’t know the power of God.

For when the dead rise they will neither marry nor be given in marriage in this respect
they will be like the angels in heaven.”

What scripture is Jesus talking about?

He’s saying your mistake is you don’t know the scriptures, well what scripture in the old testament (because He couldn’t be talking about a new testament because there wasn’t one) what scripture in the old testament does it say, the angels are not given in marriage?
It’s not in the old testament. So what scripture could he possibly be talking about?

He’s talking about the book of Enoch

It’s the only book where you’re gonna find this. It’s not in the canon. It’s not in the
pseudographica. It’s in the apocrypha…in the book of Enoch.

Enoch chapter 15 verses 4 through 7

Speaking to the angels he says, and you were spiritual holy living an eternal life
but you became unclean upon the women and begot children through the blood of
flesh and lusted after the blood of men and produced flesh and blood as they do
who die and are destroyed. And for this reason I give men wives so that they may sow
seed in them and so that the children might be born by them, so that deeds might be done on the Earth.

But you formerly were spiritual living in eternal immortal life for all the generations of
the world for this reason i did not arrange wise for you, because the dwelling of the spiritual ones is in heaven.

So what did Jesus say? He said when the dead rise they will neither marry nor be given in marriage. In this respect they will be like the angels in heaven.

And it says the same exact thing in the book of Enoch.

Jude as we know does quote Enoch and he also quotes the ascension of Moses.

So I’m just gonna say this right out front. In that same book where he quotes the book of Enoch Jude says in verse 17…

“But dear friends remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold,  they said to you in the last times there will be scoffers.“

Many “christians” scoff and deny the book of Enoch and in fact go so far as to call it satanic!

…there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires. These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the spirit.

Those are strong words and they’re not my words. I would pray to the Lord God that He would open everyone’s eyes and grant everyone repentance.

Those who have ears who hear and those who will not let their pride get in the
way of true salvation, let them hear.

The End

Stay Strong!

I have not read the book of Enoch however I would concur with you even without reading it because as I see it God speaks the same in Genesis 1:26 where He says “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness (spiritual):… then speaks of the flesh.
1:27 “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him (spiritual): male and female crated he them (flesh).
Genesis 4 and 5 are FILLED with both flesh and spiritual writings. One just has to look and listen to His Word. Faith comes by hearing and hearing from the Word of God. Enoch became flesh (after the sin of Adam and Eve) though out Genesis 4 and then in Chapter 5, after he begat Methuselah (flesh) he walked with God: and he was not; for God took him (spiritual).
I have studied many upon many names in the old/new testament that have both spiritual and flesh meanings. It’s work but it’s worth it. Just like the narrow path, it’s work but it sure is worth it!! Can I hear an Amen!

While the evil NWO cabal very quickly destroys the USA 🇺🇸 & usurper thief China joe stole the election from President Trump does his best to contribute to our country’s demise, American patriots slowly get angry as the Bill of Rights is trampled by marxistdems.
President Trump is now described by several as being part of the conspiracy and blamed again for everything.
I’m saddened that Sidney Powell was prevented from entering the White House the following day after Trump had appointed her special prosecutor. Vile evil forces were in force along with hussein and his cabal.
Too many asleep or in denial or deliberately ignoring everything. As long as they tweet & Facebook all is good as our rights are being abused and taken from awake patriots.

God bless patriots , USA 🇺🇸, President Trump and Flotus Melania!

Thanks Dianne for what you do!

JESUS Doesn’t mention Enoch personally. HE IS Referring to All Scripture. Enoch is mentioned in the book of Jude. We have to be very careful. Where did this book of Enoch come from? was it found in the dead sea scrolls? Where did we find this book?

      Hebrews 11:5
5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

    2. Are we to believe that the only account in the old testament writings of the man who walked with God for 300 years was only mentioned in a geneology report in Genesis? And Quoted in Jude of the Lord returning with ten thousands of his angels to deliver vengence on all the unrighteous? AND THOSE WORDS APPEAR NO WHERE IN THE BIBLE? Why is this? Because those at the council of Nicaea voted to not include it? These indeed were the first gates of hell that the the Lord said the Bible would prevail against. The gates of hell delivered by Roman Emperor Constantine and merging all religions into one. Thus ending all the followers of the way and forcing the first christian man interpreted dogma onto followers. Destroying great books deeming them not orthodox to read, while creating all manner of dictates that are not at all scriptural, such as making Peter the foundation of the new church. Worshiping to statues of saints, confessing sins to man on earth calling him father, when the Bible is clear NOT TO DO EITHER ONE OF THOSE THINGS. At the same council, the made concessions and met things half way. It was an absolute ridiculous display of egos and cohersion. In my opinion after reading of it. Constantine was fond of all religions, historians say he was superstitious and worshiped all religions just to make sure he worshiped the right one. Whether that is so or not, the fact that he had all religions in his collection speaks for itself. But, back to the book of Enoch. Genesis includes all his wonderful work in a geneology. Genesis Chapter 6:21-25 like a very short google search.

21And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:

22And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:

23And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:

24And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

25And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech: At the time of Enoch, there was no Torah, no Jews, No King David, Solomon, no Moses, no Israel, and no Abraham, no Isaiah or any of the prophets. Whoever wrote Genesis knew that Enoch was born the 7th of Adam and walked with God for 300 years and God took him after 365 years. A man who walked with GOD for 300 years indeed has more than a couple of paragraphs and all knew of him through the book of Enoch itself which they were all aware of.

There are only two reasons it would be included as such. One…the man never did anything and was a placeholder for the geneology. (highly unlikely as it would not explain Jude’s quote.) or two…the man had his own Books to read all about what he had to say and did. I believe it is that he had his own written work because when you read it, you see he prophesied all the events that took place as a sign of things to come, the same as Daniel and they indeed came to pass. Even describing the last generation which is the one we are in, exactly as it is. The threat was how it explained so many things preflood in detail of the fallen angels, (the watchers) and their offspring. Baal worship and exposed all things. Many of the parables of Enoch were also taught by our Lord. The book survived in Ethiopia and a French man found a copy in 1768 in Ethiopia. And it did resurface in the dead sea scrolls among other books such as the book of Isaiah, Jubilees, The War Scrolls, The Book of Giants, and many ancient documents and other books. There is no sound reason to not study the words and when one does the profound accuracy of foretelling all is astounding.

      1. In fact, if we go by the council of Nicaea, there is no account of any God inspired writings until Moses appears, and we are to believe that God left them without guidiance preflood, and after the flood, and all the way past Abraham until we have God grow a nation in Egypt before any of the writings are orthodox? I dare to say that is not so. But, that is my opinion on the matter.

Diane, I realize you are a quest for truth as we all are, but can we not agree that God has spoken to us in these last days by His Son, Jesus Christ who is the fulfillment of the law and prophets and all that went before Him? God has withheld nothing from us but has given us all we need in Christ. In fact Yashuah has become my salvation (YASHUAH). It is the spiritual meaning of His words that we are to seek as we long to know Him and “Put on his mind”

1Co 2:12  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
1Co 2:13  Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
1Co 2:14  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
1Co 2:15  But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

Jesus said His words are spirit and life and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth. IMHO as I believe also led by the spirit, these things can become a distraction away from those things which bring us into our birthright as heirs of salvation.

I am thankful for what God has revealed to us in His word through and through. It is the complete revelation of Jesus the Christ who is the living word. ENoch whose name was translated from the name CHanok in Hebrew “means initiated”. This alone is a compelling study as we understand what it means to be “initiated” and translated by our Father as he brings many sons to glory. Enoch was the first who walked by faith!

Isa 12:2  Behold,God ( EL) is my salvation; (Yshuah) I will trust and not be afraid:for the LORD (Yah) JEHOVAH is my strength and my song;he also is become my salvation.H3444 (Yshuah}.
Isa 12:3  Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the well of salvation.H3444 (Yshuah).

I hope you will read the article I posted below in the spirit of truth. I do believe that the Book of Enoch has many errors that are opposed to the Tanakh. Bless you, Diane.

  4. Book of Enoch IS SCRIPTURE! Enoch was taken up by God before death. Catholics don’t even acknowledge it but it’s real and scripture. I got it by chapters 8-10 years ago on my phone. It’s wonderful!

You do greatly err, not knowing the scriptures. A review of Enoch plainly reveals that it contradicts the Bible on major points, it’s various authors and it’s dating! This should be a topic open for discussion, not calling people scoffers because they do not agree with your interpretations. The scriptures quoted above in Matthew 22 are taken out of context. It was the resurrection being discussed with the Saduccees if you read through the chapter. They erred because they did not know the scriptures on resurrection revealed to Moses at the burning bush and other places.

    1. You are also right. Enoch is considered Greek Orthodox and not recognized as Scripture but it is scripture. Just not in the Bible. That’s why I got it in chapters. I had to get it as it became available. A lot of people think it was added to and not original because for a long time you couldn’t get it complete. There were just bits and pieces available. And you are right about the sadducees. Jesus was referring to scripture in the Bible when he told them they didn’t know scripture. He wasn’t referring to the book of Enoch.

      1. ellemy says:

Did you read the article I posted above which points out discrepancies of BOE and the Tanakh? For example, this is probably the most egregious of errors and one has to wonder why after reading this that the book should even considered as anything but heretical: It takes Jesus completely out of the salvation message!

“The book of Enoch makes the heretical claim that the angel Phanuel presides over repentance and the hope of those who will inherit eternal life.

Enoch 40:9 The second is he who presides over every suffering and every affliction of the sons of men, the holy Raphael. The third, who presides over all that is powerful, is Gabriel. And the fourth, who presides over repentance, and the hope of those who will inherit eternal life, is Phanuel. These are the four angels of the most high God, and their four voices, which at that time I heard.

It is JESUS that is the hope of eternal life. Any claim to the contrary is simply a heresy.”

Also it takes away the sin of Adam and Eve as the reason for the fall and in need of salvation.

“The Bible tells us that sin entered the world by one man, Adam

Romans 5-12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

1 corinthians 15-22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

The story of this sin is found in the book of Genesis chapter 3

The book of Enoch however takes the blame away from Adam and puts the blame at the hands of Azazel. Azazel is the one according to Enoch who has been ascribed the crime.

Enoch 10:12 All the earth has been corrupted by the effects of the teaching of Azazyel. To him therefore ascribe the whole crime.

This teaching clearly contradicts the teaching of the Bible.

the Book of Enoch also says that it was an angel named Gadreel that led Eve astray.

Enoch 69- 6. And the name of the third is Gadreel; this is the one that showed all the deadly blows to the sons of men. And he led astray Eve. And he showed the weapons of death to the children of men, the shield and the breastplate, and the sword for slaughter, and all the weapons of death to the sons of men.

However the Bible say that it was the serpent NOT Gadreel.

Genesis 3- Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

Moreover the angels had not yet fallen at the time of Eve according to the book of Enoch . The book of Enoch has the angels falling when they saw the human woman which isn’t until chapter 6 of Genesis.

        May God bless His WORD.

I’ve heard the book of Enoch mentioned before, but it’s interesting that it’s not mentioned in Scripture like the book of Jasher (Joshua 10:12, 2 Samuel 1:18). But I won’t discount it, as even Ecclesiastes 12:12 says “…to the making of many books there is no end, and much study is a weariness to the flesh”….So yes, there are many books, but the question is, “what book is inspired by God”? I believe we know the answer (or at least should):
2 Peter 1:19, 21 – “We have also a more sure word (logos) of prophecy (Jesus Christ)…For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.” I stick with The Word of God (John 1:1), because that’s what the Holy Spirit is going to bring to me (John 16:13). Blessings!

  7. trnathens says:

We’re trying to understand Spiritual beings, but from the human perspective. It’s not gonna work. We are trying to conceptualize what a spiritual being is like, based on our HUMAN experience. Do you think Jesus looked/looks like the HUMAN Jesus that walked the Earth, once he ascended? What did he look like before he DESCENDED and was “born” into the human earthly world, through Mary?

    Galatians 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

The fallacy is trying to picture a spiritual being as looking anything like a human being. Yes, I know…

    Genesis 1:27
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

    Definition: image
a representation of the external form of a person or thing in art.
the general impression that a person, organization, or product presents to the public

So NOT an exact replica. NOT exactly like God. But an image…a general impression, a representation…of the external form.

    And again, from Jesus’ teaching…

    Galatians 3:28
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

    Neither male, nor female.

So the concept of marriage isn’t the same off Earth.

THAT is also what he meant by them not knowing the scriptures.

They were thinking of spiritual beings as exactly the same as the human form – the REPRESENTATION of God’s image. Not exact replicas.

So then their concept of marriage is off, so that the question posed to Jesus is based on the wrong premise, which is what he was pointing out.

    Just my thoughts.
