A whistleblower came forward with their testimony as a Facebook Fact Checker how they interfered in the elections by censoring conservatives and pro Trump supporters. He goes into depth on how Zuckerberg had to outsource the fact checking to Appen – a third party contract company to fact check/censor because he Zuck had testified that they did not do this. So a third party doing this would not indicate that he had lied. So under federal law, if facebook got in trouble they can blame it on the fact checkers of Appen which is a third party contract company.
