TECHNICALLY, IF SOMETHING IS NOT YOURS, IT’S NOT YOURS TO GIVE TO ANOTHER. PEOPLE HAVE UNLISTED NUMBERS FOR A REASON.
So much for running a campaign stressing privacy issues and protection from big bad NSA. Cruz has just upped his spy ware data mining to a new level of undermining the public’s privacy.
With Cruz the privacy of cell numbers is not to be respected. Imagine your friends and relatives now getting blasted with Cruz data mining apps that allow your friends and relatives to use valuable cell phone minutes in unwanted campaign calls and text messages. Remember this app will also used by all the other super PAC sponsored candidates. So imagine the minutes your friends and relatives will eat with unwanted texts and calls. How many child phones will receive these?
I am wondering how well this is going to fly? Aren’t there certain laws against this type of privacy invasion? After all, YOU giving permission to use someone else’s private number makes YOU responsible for the act as much as the one making the call.
Oh, but everything is fair in an election right? When you begin receiving unsolicited demands for campaign contributions, and unwanted robo calls, at least you’ll know where they are coming from.
